Who can avail of MNBBL New Auto Loans?

We offer New Auto Loans to the following:

  • Salaried and Self-employed individuals in the age group of 21 to 65 years and/or 70 years at the end of the tenure
  • Proprietorship firm
  • Partnership Firms
  • Public & Private Ltd. Companies.

Yes, your spouse’s income can be included provided he/she joins as Personal Guarantor.

EMI stands for Equated Monthly Instalments. This instalment comprises both principal and interest components. Your EMI would be calculated depending on the tenure you choose, to repay your loan. The EMI would be higher if you choose to repay within a shorter period as against a longer-term loan.

If possible any immediate family member can be entertain as guarantor (e.g. Spouse and sibling).  However, not mandatory unless if your income does not meet our credit criteria then you may be required to have a Guarantor. A Guarantor is the one who has contracted to be responsible for another, especially one who assumes responsibilities or debts in the event of default for your loan. However, the bank may ask for a guarantor if needed.

When a borrower pays off his/her loan entirely or in part before the defined due date, it is termed as  pre-pay the loan any time after availing of the loan. You just have to pay a small pre-payment fee on the outstanding loan amount accordingly to Standard Charge Card. (Provision of NRB Directive is applicable, please visit your relationship branch).

For new vehicle maximum tenure shall be six years and five years for old vehicle, however maximum tenure should not exclude ten years from the date of manufacture of vehicle at loan maturity.

You can include your spouse or other undivided family member as a co-applicant for the Loan. His / her income can be added to enhance the loan amount.

 

As the name implies, Floating Rate Home loans or Variable Interest rate loans refers to loans where the interest applicable on the Home loan varies with the change in the Bank’s Benchmark rates such as Base Rate.

Note: Time limitation for equity financing is up to 6 month if purchased from other and up to 6 month if constructed by borrower himself/herself.

The maximum tenure under Cash Back Home Loans is 20 years for salaried and self-employed customers, subject to age of the borrower not exceeding 70 years at loan maturity.

Yes, we takeover loans from other Banks & FIs at attractive rate of interest up to same O/S limit. We also takeover loans based on the repayment track record of the customer with simple documentation. While transferring Home Loan to us we can also extend you a loan for your personal needs accordingly.

  • Residential Land & Building and Building Construction for loan up to 1.5 Crore
  • Our financing shall be up to 60% of Fair Market Value as assessed by the Bank’s valuator in case of property located outside Kathmandu valley and in case of property within Kathmandu Valley, it is to be restricted up to 50% of FMV.
  • For construction if the value of land is adequate enough, we can also finance up to 90% of the construction cost with maintaining overall financing with above specified Loan-to-value (LTV).
  • Advance financing for construction (up to 20% of estimated cost of building). However, overall financing shall be with in directive of NRB
  • Residential land purchase and Housing loan greater than NPR 1.5 Crore
  • Our financing shall be up to 40% of Fair Market Value as assessed by the Bank’s valuator in case of property inside Kathmandu valley and in case of property located outside Kathmandu valley, it is to be restricted up to 50% of FMV

Note: – However, financing shall be in line with latest NRB circular/Directives.

Loan repayment can be done immediately after availed, and repayment charge is applicable as per latest Standard Charge Card, please contact out nearest branch office.

KYC (multi-banking, net worth’s and family tree, Income Documents, security/collateral related, are mandatory for applying a Personal Loan. Additional documents may be requested from case to case basis.

Part payment or pre-payment of Loan is allowed with applicable charges.

MNBBL will confirm its appraisal decision within 5 days from the date of receipt of application and other full set of documents and other documentation is complete as per MNBBL Policy norms.

Yes, we do offer loans against existing properties owned by customers or those jointly owned by customers and their immediate family members.

 

Some of the variants which we offer against properties are:

  • Loans against Residential / Commercial / Industrial property as a pure term loan or as an Overdraft facility with clear purpose.
  • Loan for purchase of a Commercial Property.
  • What is an overdraft limit?
  • An Overdraft is a fund based credit limit sanctioned to the customer for his usage which can be easily utilized as and when necessary.

The interest to be paid by the customer is calculated only on the amount withdrawn/utilized and for the time period it is withdrawn/utilized till the time the same is repaid. The interest is calculated on a daily reducing balance and charged on a monthly basis.

Loan Against Shares (LAS) is Loan Against Marketable Securities in which the customer pledges his investment in favor of lender and borrows funds to meet his financial and personal requirement without selling his investment but purpose must be clear.

You can repay the loan at any point of time during the loan tenure by repaying the due interest and the principal loan amount through Cash/Cheque and for prepayment latest Standard Charge Autod is applicable.

Gold loan is disbursed within one day. This is, however, subject to the loan amount, assessment of the gold jewellery and documents that you submit.
